With his background in clinical counselling, business, college teaching, youth work, and pastoral ministry Alistair brings a fresh approach to counselling. He has over two decades of experience working in prisons, men’s shelters, seniors’ homes, hospitals, youth groups, children’s camps, food banks, music groups, and therapy clinics. A Bachelor's degree in education from Tyndale University College in Toronto, Ontario.    He attained his master’s degree in counselling/psychology from City University in Victoria, BC. He received his Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the British Columbia Association of   Clinical Counsellors designation while working for the reputed Victoria-based  agency   BC Families in Transition.
